Copper glazed windows became popular in the Edwardian era. We’ve salvaged many from early C20th commercial buildings and mansion blocks.
More elegant and durable than windows using lead work they make excellent internal windows. They allow light flow and visual connection and we enjoy the warmth of the copper.
We reused a large quantity as our shop front.
Broken glass is difficult to replace. Panels can be reduced in size and refitted into new timber frames. Check with your building control officer regarding fire rating.
