This shelving system was manufactured by W. Lucy & Co Ltd, Oxford, from the late 1890's, as 'perfect adjustable shelving'. The brackets run up and down a groove in the upright and are easily locked in any position; it can be configured in numerous ways for bookshelves, clothes hanging, home and shop use etc.

Supplied flat packed in component parts with instructions for self-assembly.
