Tiny woodblock print by renowned modernist theatre practitioner, Edward Gordon Craig (1872-1866).
Printed on extremely fine paper and mounted in an Edwardian hardwood frame, dated 1907.
The son of famous actress Dame Ellen Terry and architect E.W Godwin, Edward became an influential theatre director, producer and designer in the early 20th century, as did his sister Edith.
This may be a set design – keen eyes will spot the little man towards the centre of the scene.
