Retrouvius embraces Japan
Here at Retrouvius we are always looking
at ways of broadening our minds and expanding our horizons.
It was with this is mind that Adam recently took off to Tokyo
on a DTI sponsored export trade mission to coincide with Tokyo
Design Week. As well as exhibiting at a show to promote UK
design, Adam spent a fortnight walking, talking, eating and
drinking his way around Tokyo and further afield.
We would like to thank BFM and the DTI for
this opportunity and we hope this may be the beginning of
a beautiful trading relationship with Japan.
Adam likes: the Honda scooters they keep
to themselves; the fashion girls and boys; frozen tuna sawn
in half with a band-saw; sushi, sake (but not karaoke); Tokyo’s
ability to swallow apparently any style, digest it and spit
out its quintessence (very politely of course).
