Green House is a collective of four Kensal Green businesses all dealing, in some way, with the house or garden. Ammonite sell rare and unusual fossils and minerals, Habibi specialise in Moroccan tiles and interiors, Retrouvius is an architectural salvage and design warehouse, and Gardens on Site is a landscape design company and flower shop. The two previous Green House openings, in 2001 and 2002, attracted designers, architects and local residents, confirming Kensal Green as a new hotspot for London’s style aficionados. Habibi offers a comprehensive selection of handmade Moroccan tiles: preassembled mosaic borders, colourful wall panels and terracotta floor tiles, and also has a variety of unique Moroccan rugs, lamps, pots and other antiques. Habibi have worked on numerous bespoke projects with architects and interior designers. Their showroom is a little North African oasis in Kensal Green.

Retrouvius: Trading from a 2,500 square foot warehouse tucked away off Harrow Road, partners Maria Speake and Adam Hills accumulate the raw materials of their trade – architectural salvage, reclaimed timber, antique marble fireplaces and contemporary pieces like designer furniture and lighting. Retrouvius welcome designers, architects and all those involved in renovating properties.

Gardens on Site: TessAnna Hoare and Farouk Hammoud are artists and gardeners. From their hub in a small dynamic flower shop on Harrow Road their laden pick-up truck ventures from site to site transforming muddy back yards into horticultural paradises. Their principles: respect, care, responsibility and knowledge.
